STAR Solar is proud to announce the completion of the First Presbyterian Church solar array. The 42.78 kW array consists of 138 roof mounted Phono Solar Modules that will generate 53,042 kWh of electricity. It also boasts a 10.6kw LG battery to store excess production from the daytime to offset energy usage in the evening hours. The SolarEdge inverters installed at this array connect to the internet and upload the production data for online monitoring of the array, including the charge and usage of the battery!
In addition to generating and storing electricity, it will offset their carbon dioxide emissions by 41.3 tons!
