STAR Solar is proud to be a part of bringing renewable energy to Lynch, Kentucky. The City of Lynch in the process of installing solar power at the Lynch City Hall, Lynch Water Filtration Plant, Lynch Sewer Plant, and Lynch Sewage Disposal facilities. Through these four instalments, Lynch will be producing 216,583 kWh of AC electricity per year. Electrical savings are estimated to be around $1,033,000 over 20 years, averaged about $51,674 per year. STAR Solar is in the process of installing about 514 solar panels between the four building sites which is estimated to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 167 tons. The installation and construction is scheduled to be finished by the end of the year for the four PV solar array systems.
